Looking for a free video editing software for simple tasks like crop, cut, trim, convert and merge. I do not know if it does exactly what you want. Open source video editor that has frame blending when exporting like Adobe Premiere and Vegas pro? Davinci Resolve is a professional-grade editor, and free, but not open source. Openshot is a pretty easy editor that works similarly. Olive is another promising option, but similarly tricky to master. It's modeled after Adobe Premiere (more or less), and has a bit of a learning curve. It is still in Beta, but looks very promising. Is there anything that proprietary software can do and has no open alternative?Īlso, keep an eye on for video editing.
